One of the most popular pet species due to their size and gentleness. These get up to 8” and are a good choice to demonstrate safe handling. It is quite attractive in appearance, bearing long light-colored hairs all over its body and gold stripes on its legs, particularly at the "knees". Although significantly larger, it is similar in appearance and temperament to the Pink Zebra Beauty, Eupalaestrus campestratus, and when it was first imported to the pet trade, it was thought to belong to that species.
