The Usambara Baboon certainly earns it’s common nickname, “OBT”, Orange Bitey Thing. The orange is obvious, and the bitey part will be also if you get too close. Juveniles and adults will readily attempt to sink it’s fangs into a nice tender finger, and then rear up and go into a “threat position”, almost flipping over backwards. Slings tend to run like snot, usually under the bed, living the good life under your dirty underwear and stiff towels. These are very hardy, and prefer a dry environment which they will web up like crazy. They will eat almost anything smaller than themselves. Not for the faint of heart.
