The Cobalt Blue is sometimes disparagingly referred to as a “pet hole” due to their deep burrows and their reluctance to leave them. But when they do, you’re in for a real treat with a deep metallic blue sheen on their legs, and a smoke-grey colored carapace. Also, they have a nice set of fangs and they’re not afraid of using them. Back in my early hobby days, this was the spider that made me scream like a girl. Give them plenty of substrate and humidity.
