These lookers are one of the most under-rated in the hobby. Don’t let the low prices fool you, they are an overall velvet black with bright red abdominal setae. Very hardy and fast growing for a Brachy, they like it dry and with a water dish. Tell your friends that you taught it tricks, since juveniles will consistently grab a cricket or roach in mid air! There is an introduced colony in Florida somewhere, and a certain un-named dealer tried to peddle those as “Florida Red Rumps” with an inflated price, what a jackball! You will agree with me when I say, “red butts drives me nuts”.
